Between the long hours at work, the energy-sucking commute, and all the
demands of family life, I made the mistake of finding excuses to not
exercise. And once I let it slip, it just became easier to do it again,
and again, and again.

To make matters worse, all that extra flab was making me sick. My
cholesterol was high, my heartburn was out-of-control, I was guzzling
`energy' drinks and coffee all day just to stay awake...

And I had developed chronic migraines that were so painful, I was
practically LIVING on Excedrin and Motrin.

Bottom line: I was a physical wreck!

I had always been energetic and enthusiastic, but now my body was
falling apart! I was starting to suffer the consequences of years of
long work weeks, non-stop stress, sleep deprivation, poor diet and
totally neglecting my health.

And yes, of course I knew I had a problem.

That's why I joined the gym. That's why I got a treadmill for the
house. That's why I signed up with personal trainers. I watched what I
ate. Even started juicing. But for some reason, I just couldn't make it
work. (I'll show you why in a bit.)

I was frustrated because I couldn't get rid of all that ugly fat even
though I was exercising and dieting like crazy. All I wanted was a
simple, healthy way to lose weight and get-in-shape fast, but all I got
was more conflicting fitness advice that made me even more overwhelmed
and confused.

Plus, I was so busy, I wasn't even sure how I would find the time to
workout.

So, if you're struggling to lose weight and get back-in-shape, but you
think you're doing all the right things... just hear me out: NO YOU ARE
NOT.

I thought I was doing everything "right" too, but as you can see from
my pictures, something was terribly wrong.

Like the personal trainer who put me through a workout that rendered me
virtually unable to walk for 4 days due to the excruciatingly intense
routine he put me through, even though I told him that I had not worked
out or exercised in years.

Then came the last straw: I signed up for a "medically supervised"
weight loss program near my work. They put me on a 800-calories-a-day
diet for 30 days. I stuck to it 100% and lost exactly 20 pounds in 30
days.

But within 2 weeks, I gained all the weight back again. I remember
thinking, "All I want to do is lose this weight! Why is it so f***ing
difficult!"

The Wake-Up Call

I took the kids to the local skating ring and we all had a blast.
Actually, the kids had a blast, because as for me... I was red-faced,
huffing, and sweating after just a few minutes.

But I managed to take these photos:



Have you ever looked in the mirror and seen nothing but FAT?

These pictures hit me like a ton of bricks!

These pictures were yet another wake-up call to how serious my
condition was. Who was I kidding? I wasn't just `chubby' anymore. I was
certifiably FAT. (Obese, technically.)

I was disgusted, embarrassed and PISSED OFF.

I knew what I HAD to do.

I had to lose the weight, get back-in-shape, and get my health and
energy back. The problem was I had no clue about HOW to do it, at least
in a way that was different than what I had already tried. I had done
many (many!) diet and workout programs in the past, and always had
these same 3 problems:
1. Most of the time, I couldn't LOSE the weight.
2. When I did, I couldn't KEEP it off.
3. I would actually GAIN a few extra pounds.

So I knew I couldn't just do the same things and expect a different
result.

This time, I did something different.

The Accidental Discovery That Will Change Your Life Forever

Patiently and systematically, I began styding fat loss and body
recomposition night and day. And in a very remote corner of the
internet, far away from the hype and hoopla of the mainstream weight
loss fads:

I found it.

I discovered some things I never knew about fat loss (not to be
confused with "weight" loss) and these were to become the cornerstones
to my soon-to-be success.

I took the dieting and exercise ideas I had run across and I made a few
KEY tweaks to them (<- important!) and then started quickly to "test"
my new fat loss plan.

The "tweaks" I made were as follows:
* I combined the diet and workout solutions in a unique way so that
they would work synergistically with eachother. (Most programs take
either a "diet only" or "exercise only" approach. My plan combined
the best of both.)
* I made adjustments to the workout solution so it would match my
current fitness level, which was zero. (The problem with some of
the best workout programs out there is that they are simply too
advanced for people that are very overweight and just starting out.
I wanted a workout solution that would accommodate beginners as
well as the advanced.)

As I mentioned earlier, the plan does not involve extreme or fad diets,
it does not involve drugs or pills, and it does not involve endless
hours in the gym (since I couldn't last that long anyway).

What it DOES have is a "Lifestyle Transition" component that is
automatically "built-in" to the plan. The Lifestyle Transition element
is the most important part because that's what ensures results that
